Which Is The Best MLM Company? Melaleuca, Freelife or Primerica?

Distributors from every company will tell you that "No question, my company has the best mlm company around.". I would be wary about buying that line. There is no arguing the fact that huge fortunes and life altering financial freedom is made possible through multi level marketing.. Done wrong, however, and you'll spend huge amounts of time and energy engaging in very uncomfortable encounters with friends, family, coworkers and strangers. One of the first significant decisions you will make in getting yourself started in the right direction is finding the right company to partner up with. Paying close consideration to these 5 areas will help you find the best mlm opportunity for you so you can make the most wealth in the shortest amount of time. 1. OVERPRICED PRODUCTS One big irritation I have with this industry is the fact that a lot of companies market products or services that are way too expensive in relation to their true market value. To be successful in any business you'll want to make sure that the product or service has great worth for the price. One assessment you can perform is this...Ask yourself, "would people buy this product if there was no business opportunity associated with it?" This will make sure that your business does not crumble if people aren't making money with the opportunity. 2. LACK OF MASS MARKET APPEAL All mlm companies will innocently spread the lie that "everyone is your prospect". The fact of the matter is some products are only attractive to a certain niche of consumers If you're marketing a product that is not desireable to large numbers of people, you could be in for quite a bit of rejection.

The best mlm company effortlessly solves this problem by marketing a product product or service that indeed does have mass market appeal. 3. PAY PLANS It seems there are pros and cons to every type of compensation plan out there. Opinion can be found to support or condemn matrix, binary, hybrid, uni level or any other compensation plan you can think of. Keep these things in mind... * Watch out for companies that say they pay "up to" a certain percentage of gross sales. "Up to" inevitably means "less than". * If the company requires that new distributos purchase a large quantity of products to start the business, be careful. This is referred to as "garage qualified" in the industry. This is where people can get hurt in MLM. * It's a good idea to gain a fundamental understanding of the several types of pay plans that are common. There are only a handful that tend to be used. 4. POOR MANAGEMENT All I can say here is "Do your Research!" I've heard old MLM pros preach up and down to never join a new mlm company. The reality is, old companies can and do fail. New companies, if managed correctly, offer exciting opportunities for tremendous growth. The bottom line is this, I don't care if it's a new company or an old company, meet with the management if you can and try to get a feel for the foundation of the enterprise. Are they well funded? Does the executive team have the talent to stay in business? Can they be trusted? These are all questions you'll want to have answered. The word of the day here is Due diligence, due diligence, due diligence. Last but certainly not least, it's crucial that you are sold on the product or service yourself.. This will get you through the struggles you most certainly will face in building your network marketing empire.

MLM Co-op?
MLM'rs UNITE!! It only makes sence to co-op from all different types of MLM's i.e buy laundry detergents from Joes quixtar site, buy Bettys tupperware from her site, etc.etc. If all MLM'ers (over one million in U.s. alone) formed a coop, and by-passed the retail market, then the possabilities would be incredable. But it seems everyone is so wrapped up in thier own business that it never has occured to anyone to simply Co-Op. And if you prospect and loose, than gently suggest another Biz.op., and pass them down. there are plenty of op's out there to suite anyone. This way, the volume would sky-rocket, and the points would too. And as for MLM's that have multiple product catagories, than all you have to do is specialize, or flagship a certain product, therby spreading the oppurtunity to others in the same MLM. Does anyone agree, disagree? Does anyone think this approach could work?

If sales, not recruiting, is the true focus of all MLM companies, why is advancement tied to recruiting?
We constantly hear people saying MLM is not a pyramid because its about sales (something I doubt since I still have yet to hear from a single MLMer who will provide his/her personal sales volumes). The fact that nearly all ranks achieved in MLM are tied to sponsoring people (look at all the compensation plans, if you don;t sponsor, you can't get to the top) how can anyone suggest the focus is not on sponsoring people to make money as oppose to sales? This would lead to the very obvious and logical conclusion that MLM corporations are more interested in having their reps focus on finding more reps as oppose to personal sales. That is the basis of a ponzi whether its considered legal or not. Anyone disagree? If so, show me your compensation plan and prove it. Timeless Mom - I appreciate your answer but I think you missed the point. If its not about sales, what value does any MLMer present to society? A ponzi scheme is simply paying people out of money brought in by subsequent additional people they bring in. The whole legality of MLM is that it supposed to be about sales. Well, if everyone does a small amount of sales and the real money is made recruiting, then the real definition of what you have is a ponzi. My whole point is that MLM is NOT about sales. Its seems many nice people (such as yourself) understand this but clearly overlook why this is so bad. If its not about the sales, its about the recruiting (by design), and if its about the recruiting, its merely bringing in people to make money until someone eventually is left holding the bag. I just want to know why everyone so easily accepts these compensation plans in MLM without ever questioning this line of thinking??? Timeless Mom - one other point. If I am going to buy a franchise from you, you better believe you are going to show me your books. Its called "due diligence" and its customary with the purchase of any business. Sorry to come down on your for that, but unfortunately too many people in MLM tend to profess business knowledge yet clearly show none. As a MOM (i assume by your name) looking to make money, that is fine not knowing the basic business principals, but facts are facts and if you would buy a business based on its history without investigating its financial statements, incomes, etc, then business really might not be for you. Best of luck.
