All MLMs Are Scams And Pyramid Schemes
I don't know about you, but I really get sick of clueless people running around out there saying things like "all MLM's are scams and pyramid schemes ". I swear, if I hear that ridiculous pyramid schemes nonsense one more time I think my head might just explode!
When you're trying to build your network marketing business, you're likely to encounter at least a few people with this pyramid schemes attitude, even if they don't say it out loud. Stay away from these people because their negativity will suck the enthusiasm out of you like avampire feasting on your blood. Don't spend even 5 minutes engaging these type of people about your business. Just walk away and count yourself lucky not to be like that yourself. Be careful not to confuse the pyramid schemes vampire with another type of person you'll inevitably encounter: the doubter. The doubter might use a lot of the same words as the vampire, but there will be a very different connotation to what they're saying. When you're talking to people about your business pay close attention to what they're saying back to you. Listen for clues as to their openness and curiosity about what you're saying. The pyramid schemes vampires are usually easy to spot, but what about the ones that are just confused or uncertain as to what this whole MLM thing is all about? These doubters are the people you want to continue to talk to about your business. Here's something I've noticed about the two different groups. The pyramid schemes vampires are short, nasty, completely negative and feel about as good as a rash on that hard-to-reach spot on your backside. The uncertain ones are more gentle and may even be nervous when talking with you about it. They might say something like "aren't all MLMs scams and pyramid schemes?" Notice that there will always be a hint of curiosity behind their words and you'll feel that they are open to learning something more about the topic. That's how you spot a good prospect. This is someone you can continue the conversation with and see where it leads. You can ask probing questions like:- "What do you understand a pyramid scheme to be?"
- "What do you think network marketing is about?"
- "Do you know anyone else in network marketing and what do you think about them?"
