To be successful in MLM Marketing Home Based Business you don't need motivation and inspiration, you need self-empowerment. You have the ability to deflect of any negativity around you with the strength of your self-empowerment. When you have reached this stage of self-empowerment you KNOW what you need to do. You take care of the self development phase of your own life by acquiring and reading the proper material in both book and audio formats. Let's take a peek into our Brain and the way it functions.
There is a part of your brain that is known as the Reticular Activating System - or (RAS). The RAS plays an extremely important part in your ability to achieve your goals, if you only knew how to manage it.

Here is how it works.

Imagine that you're walking through a busy shopping mall. Think of all the noise - hundreds of people talking, background music from all the stores and occasional announcements How much of this noise are you actually listening to? Hardly any. Yes, you can hear background noise, but not many of people bother to listen to each individual sound that is being produced.

Suddenly, a new announcement comes over the public address system - referencing your name. Suddenly your attention is full on alert, your adrenalin is pumped and you focus intensely on the announcement. RAS is the automatic mechanism inside your brain that brings relevant information to your attention.

Your RAS is like a filter between your conscious mind and your subconscious mind. It takes instructions from your conscious mind and passes them on to your subconscious mind. For example, the programming in your mind might be, "listen out for anyone saying my name".

There are some interesting points about your RAS that make it an absolute essential tool for achieving goals.

First, you can deliberately program the RAS by choosing the exact messages you send from your conscious mind. For example, you can set goals, or say affirmations, or visualize your goals. Napoleon Hill said that we can achieve any realistic goal if we keep on thinking of that goal, and stop thinking any negative thoughts about it. Of course, if we keep thinking that we can't achieve a goal; our subconscious will help us - not achieve it. "What the mind can conceive, the mind can achieve". For the good or the bad.

Second, your RAS cannot distinguish between real events' and fake' events. In other words it tends to believe whatever message you give it. Imagine that you're going to be giving a speech in front of hundreds of people. You can practice giving that speech by visualizing it in your mind over and over again. This practice should improve your ability to successfully present the speech to your intended audience.

To move forward successfully we need to create a very specific picture of our goals in our conscious mind. The RAS will then pass this on to our subconscious - which will then help us achieve the goal. It does this by bringing to our attention all the relevant information which otherwise might have remained as background noise' similar to your name being called on the loud speaker at the mall.

The reason this is so important is that the RAS will STOP our goal messages getting through to our subconscious if our self-image is not congruent with our goals.
